Ocean Song Roads Project, LandPaths

Overview

During Summer 2023 Spye General Engineering was hired by LandPaths to perform road upgrade work at Ocean Song Preserve in west Sonoma County. The crew spent 2 weeks regrading the eroding and rough native-surface road using techniques developed by Pacific Watershed Associates. Five rolling dips, several hundred feet of out sloping, three new ditch relief culverts, and a large gravel turnaround were installed in this project, which offers better ingress and egress, better emergency access, and reduced erosion and sedimentation to better protect the local watershed.
