Overview

As part of an ongoing effort to improve forest health and restore grassland and oak woodland habitat in West Sonoma County, Spye General Engineering was hired by Might Arrow Ranch to perform an initial forest thinning effort along the forested edge of this West Sonoma County property. Steve Pye and his crew focused on reducing overall Douglas fir, Bay Laurel, and Tanoak stems per acre and opening the understory to provide more space for species such as Coast Live Oak, Madrone, and Redwood.
